Freedom In Letting Go

Updated: Jan 16, 2022

When we hold things lightly and live unattached to expectation and judgments we are more in tune with the nature all around us.  When on the yoga mat a student starts first with noticing where they are attached to expectations about their body, poses or experience and eventually over time that awareness trickles into their life. Attachment to things, beliefs and feelings will ultimately leave a person feeling stuck. Letting go of that which we hold so tightly gives the mind freedom from the incessant obsession of "how it should be " and gives one wisdom of beginning to see "how things really are." We can't control the shit-show that life sometimes is, but we can control what we think about,  what we speak about and our actions/responses to situations.  Yoga assists with creating a more conscious existence.  If interested in learning more through virtual philosophy enriched hatha yoga classes see details below.
