šThe truth about being human is that we are not always happy or joyful. Sometimes we are angry, sad or just plain grumpy.
šIn those moments it is valid to allow ourselves to feel our feelings without denying them. However, we don't need to leave ourselves stewing in the heavy emotions. It's ok to find something to assist you with bringing in the lightness.
šThink of a child and how swiftly they move from feelings of sadness to feelings of gladness with just a little kindness, compassion and playfulness reflected to them from their adult caregiver.
šThis week in classes as we invite our inner children out to play we will also curiously explore an ancient meditation technique called: The Taoist Smile. This practice invites a smile to the face and to the heart to play with a feedback loop in the brain- smiling to feel good. Let's give it a go! What do you have to lose?
