Wellness & Transformational Festivals

As part of my awakening journey, I’ve been attending wellness and transformational festivals centered on yoga, art, music, spirituality, and community since 2012. These festivals are quite different from the typical large music festivals and are often alcohol-free events.

Over the years, I’ve attended festivals such as EvolveFest, KarmaFest, Touch Mother Earth, OmFest, Wanderlust, PermaJam, MayFest/AscendFest, Lovelight, and RainbowMoonFest, though some of these no longer exist. I've also immersed myself in spiritual community through experiences like a month-long Living Yoga training at Yogaville, a 200-hour yoga teacher training, a 500-hour yoga teacher training, and a 1,000-hour Yoga Therapy Certification. For the past three years, I’ve been regularly attending ecstatic dance events.

These gatherings and immersive experiences have enriched the soil of my being in ways that are hard to put into words.

This year, I attended my first Harmonic Earth Festival at Stonehedge Gardens in Tamaqua, PA. I was there for three days, and it couldn't have come at a better time. Emotionally, this season has been a tough one for me, and I was in dire need of such a gathering.

Harmonic Earth was thoughtfully curated and packed with nourishing workshops, food, music, movement, and community. It felt like stepping into a land where everyone was doing the work to live in alignment with their Spirit Self—their most authentic Self—in a non-dogmatic spiritual space. Everyone made eye contact, smiled, and engaged in deep, meaningful conversations. We shared laughs, we shared tears, and we held space for it all. I made new friends and reconnected with those I’ve met over the past few years at ecstatic dance events.

There was something different about this gathering—maybe it was the people, the land, or maybe I’ve changed since my first festival in 2012. Whatever it was, it felt magical. Being around so many high-vibe humans was a blessing and has motivated me to keep going.

I’m deeply grateful to the curators of this event and look forward to being part of the festival family for years to come.
