💜In this morning's class I spoke about my grandfather, it wasn't planned. The reason he came up is because as I'm teaching about connecting to the playful inner child within this week, I started thinking back on my childhood and pondering where I got my playful spirit from... 🌟The man in the pictures is my Pop-Pop, Eugene DeLange. He passed away when he was 57 and I was 9. He was my favorite person in the whole wide world when I was a child. His passing was my first experience with death and grief. When he crossed the Rainbow Bridge I 100% know that he became a guardian angel on my team. How I know is because he came to me in a dream many years ago, I asked him if he was my guardian angel, I felt him touch my cheek and he said "Of course I am." 💜If you can't tell we kinda resemble one another. I was the only grandchild who had his red hair, none of his 5 kids had it either, so I was kind of special to him. 🌟What I remember about him was his lighthearted playfulness, and the love emanating from him when I was in his presence. He was a Soul who allowed his inner child to come out and play. He imprinted on me the importance of silliness. 💜To this day some of my closest friends are absolute goof balls and I wouldn't have it any other way. 🌟I hope my Pop-Pop is proud of how far his little Ronnie Anne has come. I was the first female in our family to graduate college, I then went on to an over 20 year healing journey to recover from developmental trauma and I know that my Pop-Pop was definitely watching over me, rooting me on, keeping me safe and keeping me playful. I am blessed. 🦋I share bits of my story in trusting that it will reach who it is meant to, to spread love, light, awareness and inspiration to stay playful. Even in the face of life's tragedies, light can be seen if you open yourself up to see it.
